04.10.2011 The project „Reconstruction of road Karksi-Nuia – Seda river“ has finished
The project „Reconstruction of road Karksi-Nuia – Seda river“, which was funded from Estonia-Latvia Programme will be finished in October 2011. The Estonian partner has already accepted their road section on 29th of September 2011 – the joint opening ceremony is planned to happen on Estonian-Latvian border at 12.00 on 17th of October 2011. After the funding problems, appeared at the beginning of the project, this project has been spectacular, with no serious problems and obstacles.

At the end of July new calls of EU's 7th Framework Programme (FP7) for innovation and development in numerous research fields were opened with deadlines at the end of this year. The Work Programme for 2012 with about €7 billion is the European Commission's biggest ever funding package under the FP7.

28.06.2011 Advisio successful in 7th Framework Programme
Advisio together with two Estonian security organisations and 13 other partners prepared a successful project proposal for 7th Framework Programme (FP7) Security Call 2011. Activities of the project are aimed at increasing innovation management capabilities of security-related public operators. The project will start at the end of 2011.

On December of 14th the Estonian-Latvian Programme closed the call for project proposals. The most popular direction of support was 2.1. Facilitating business start-up and development, were was submitted 13 applications (total applied subsidy EUR 4,3 million).

The article of Advisio Ltd consultant Age Laine and Tartu University professor Urmas Varblane on university-industry knowledge transfer and innovation processes was published in the compendium of International Scientific Conference on Economic Policy on the subject „Economic Policy in the EU Member States - Year 2010". The article "Government Supporting Schemes Enhancing University-Industry Knowledge Transfer on the Example of SPINNO Program" is based on master thesis defended by Age in University of Tartu in January.

08.03.2010 Lecture by Ragne Kasesalu at Conference Organised by UT Department of Geography
On March 5, Ragne Kasesalu, Head of Advisio's Local Development Division, gave a lecture entitled Geographical Distribution of EU Regional Development Grants and Requirements for Drawing Up Grant Applications and Their Shortcomings at an academic conference organised by the Department of Geography of the University of Tartu.

04.02.2010 Level 4 Professional Certificate Awarded to Advisio's Senior Consultant Rauno Vinni
The Estonian Consultant's Association (ECA) awarded the level 4 Professional Certificate to Advisio's Senior Consultant Rauno Vinni, who has ten years of experience with consulting. Rauno Vinni is Advisio's one of the most experienced employees, his areas of expertise in consulting include the development and implementation of management systems and the management of strategic planning processes.
In addition to Rauno Vinni, of Advisio's employees, Diana Timošova also holds the level 4 Professional Certificate.

19.01.2010 Advisio Became Corporate Member of Estonian Consultants' Association
At the beginning of 2010, Advisio became a corporate member of the Estonian Consultants' Association. The ECA is a professional body of Estonian consultants, which also performs professional certification of consultants. Currently, the ECA has 36 individual members (including Lauri Antalainen from Advisio), 12 senior members and 11 corporate members (now including Advisio).

18.01.2010 Over 50m EEK Awarded to Tourism Companies from EU Funds
In 2009, Advisio assisted its clients in requesting and obtaining more than 50m EEK of EU funding from the two tourism product development programmes of the Enterpise Estonia Foundation.
